Instructions:

Stage 1
(prepared by the teachers) :

– Create a closed forum (like Moodle)

– Form teams of 4 telecollaborative partners: two students (pair) from each country

Stage 2 (research)
:

– Ask each pair to develop a questionnaire (in form of a Word document) on the political situation of the partner&#39 s city in the field of ecology and the problems this can generate:

For example: Does your city enforce waste separation? Are there a lot of green spaces in your city?

– The pairs post their questionnaires in the forum

– In every team the pairs exchange their answers to the respective questionnaire in the forum

Stage 3
(production) :

– Ask the pairs to choose 3 problematic subjects from the partner team’ s responses to the questionnaire:

For example: one city implements waste separation, the other does not

-The telecollaborative partners write a text (which could be addressed &quot to the responsible parties of the ecological politics of the partner&#39 s city&quot ) to propose solutions to the problems of the partner&#39 s city

The text should comprise between 100 and 150 words depending on the level

Stage 4 (exchanges):

In the forum the partners react to the viability of the solutions suggested by the partners (they comment, add or express their disapproval)

Stage 5 (wrap-up in class): Return to the task of the production stage on the differences which exist between the ecological politics of both cities
