Instructions:

Stage 1 (preparation):

– Create a closed forum (like Moodle).

– Download the program Call Recorder which allows you to record your Skype conversations.

– Form telecollaborative pairs.

1 student of each country.


Stage 2
(
setup): Ask every telecollaborative partner to design a questionnaire in preparation of an interview about the work his/her partner could have next to their studies and about their professional projects:

For example: Do you have a job? What kind of job is it? What do you have to do exactly? What do you want to do after your studies?

The instructors advises them during this stage in order to design a questionnaire which structures the partners’ conversation.


Stage 3
(
production): Signing up in Call Recorder every team does the interview on skype and records it.


Stage 4
(
exchange): Publish the interviews in a closed forum (like the ones that exist in Moodle). Encourage the telecollaborative partners to listen to and comment on the interviews in terms of similarities or differences between the participants.


Stage 5
(
wrap-up in class): Coming back to the conversations, to the promptness of the responses, the pertinence of the exchanged information and on the quality of the language used.
