Instructions:

Stage 1 (preparation through the instructors):

– Create a closed forum (on Moodle for example) where students put the link to their slide show or their video

Stage 2 (production):

Individually, the telecollaborative partners create an audiovisual document (choice between commented slideshow with Voicethread or commented video with a video creation software) of a couple of minutes which presents their daily life.

– The document needs to contain the following information:

the accommodation, the transport, the place of studies, the organization of a &quot standard&quot day (meals, activities after the seminars)

possibly the content of certain seminars

– The document needs to cover a time range between 1 and 2 minutes

It is important to advise the telecollaborative partners to not read out a text prepared in advance, but to speak freely instead

Stage 3 (exchange):

Encourage the telecollaborative partners to react individually in form of comments to the presentations of their partners (the common aspects, the differences)

Stage 4 (wrap-up in class):

Feedback on the accomplishment of task instructions: the content, the creation of the slide show, the relationship between the image and the comments

– Feedback on the quality and the spontaneity of the language in the productions
