Designing an intercultural Task
Students should find out about the similarities and differences when visiting Heidelberg (Germany) and Logroño (Spain). Make suggestions for a day and night out on the town of your partners.
Creating a group identity
International groups meet in a skype session where they get to know each other further based on their personal presentations, by asking their partners about their presentations. Tasks for the chat are: 1. Find a group name 2. Talk about the cities/towns you live in
Heidelberg and Logroño: Getting to know each other
Create a short presentation about yourself and add some information about the town you live in. You can use glogster or another presentation tool.
Developing ICC: A German Spanish exchange
The aims of this task sequence is to raise students' cultural awareness and its importance in EFL. The final product will be an intercultural task. Students will develop this task in international groups . As a final activity, they will assess other peers' work.
