This task allows the telecollaborative partners to present their work, if they have one, and their professional projects in form of interviews.
Ice-breaker: Getting to know your partners
This is an activity to help collaborating partners get to know each other before beginning the other activities in the planned exchange. It involves some preliminary preparation of materials by the partner teachers (pictures of all the participants) and online chat facilities (all participants should have an account beforehand).
Getting to know each other
In this task the students are expected to introduce themselves and present their teaching background, technology-in-teaching experience as well as state their expectations about the participation in the exchange. Depending on their technology skills and the available tools, they can introduce themselves in writing (e.g. in a forum post), orally (by recording a podcast) or in a multimodal way (creating a slideshow, a glog or a short movie)
